Scottish students undertaking a degree in Nursing/Mental Health Nursing must apply to the Student Awards Agency for Scotland for theÌýÌý(NMSB). A non means-tested bursary is available.
EU students undertaking a Nursing degree in Scotland will have the cost of their tuition fees met by the Scottish Government.
Generally, theÌý (NMSB)Ìýis not available to EU undergraduate students. However, if you have lived in the UK or have immediate family living or working in the UK, please check theÌýÌýeligibility criteria orÌýcontact our Advisory Service if you require any assistance.
From 2017 students from the rest of the UK undertaking a degree in Nursing/Mental Health Nursing in Scotland must apply to the student finance organisation relevant to where you live (England, Northern Ireland, Wales) for a tuition fee loan and a living cost loan.

If you are an international student from outside of the EU, then you are likely to pay overseas tuition fee rates and will not be entitled to help with tuition fees or living costs. You will also be expected to have sufficient funds available to cover your tuition fees and living costs prior to starting each academic year.
