Results day can be emotional, and your student may be nervous. However, it's important you stay calm and reassure them. You know them best and they'll appreciate any help and support you can give them to help make the right decision.

Some key points to help with this:

• Do your own Clearing research

• Keep calm

• Be reassuring

• Talk about other options

• Don鈥檛 rush them into making a decision

• Make sure they make any phone calls themselves
