Biography
I鈥檓 currently Head of the Sociology Division. I joined Abertay as a Lecturer in Sociology in 1999 and since then, have held various roles including Programme Leader and Acting Director of Academic Programmes.聽
Before joining Abertay, I was a Senior Research Officer (Gay Men) at The HIV Project in London where I conducted consultancy-based research and service reviews related to HIV/AIDS and sexual health.
My research interests include the family, health, sexuality and social movements. I have conducted research and published in these areas, including carrying out work for the NHS and Scottish Government on sexual health, and sexuality and relationship training in primary education.
