Gonzalo joined Abertay University in September聽2015 as Head of the Division of Accounting, Finance and Economics. Career: University of St Andrews (Lecturer in Economics and Finance), University of Manchester (Lecturer in Macroeconomics; Teaching Fellow), Central Bank of Bolivia (Deputy Head of Payment Systems; Analyst in the Open Market Operations Division). Awards and Honours: Overseas Research Scholarship (ORS), Chevening Scholarship, Academic Excellence Scholarship, Certificate of Merit from the Senate of Bolivia. Professional bodies: member聽of the Council of the聽Scottish Economic Society聽(SES), member of the聽Royal Economic Society聽(RES) and member聽of the聽Bolivian Society of Economists聽(SEBOL).聽 He has published in journals such as the聽European Economic Review, the聽Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization聽and the聽Journal of International Money and Finance. He has done consultancy work for the Department for International Development聽(DFID).
